Charlee turns Three

Charlee Turns Three

This year Charlee wanted a pincess party and I knew it was coming because lately she has been obsessed with dressing up and playing with all her princess'. She helped pick out her invites this year too, she couldnt choose just one princess so it was all of them.  Cinderellas wedding dress is the dress she wanted to wear to her party.

Grandpa Walt and Grandma Pam were in town for her party!
King Grandpa Jack

Princess Madison came to her party too.
Mother Gothel and Ariel came too.  Charlee was so excited they dressed up.

Rapunzel Morgie came to play.
Flora, Fawna, and Meriweather came to grant her three wishes.
Daddy had a killer Eugine outfit complete with a satchel

Glass slippers
The nightgowns were a big hit.
Time to blow out the candles.
 Her castle cake
All the kidos just dug into the cake... and it was so yummie.

 Two pregos.

Charlee's 1st Hair Cut

Charlee got her 1st hair cut before we had our pictures taken.  I really didn't think it was necessary, but getting a little trim should help it grow in better and I guess it was a little uneven.  Still it was her hair she had when she was born because she didn't loose any.  Its a totally different color... is it bad if I color her hair? Just kidding.
Jill did an awesome job and despite the first pictures, Charlee ended up loving her hair.  We saved the trimmings and have them in an envelope along with her certificate.  She just keeps filling up pages in her baby book and that makes me miss each and every day since she has been born.

Charlee was sad because she had in her head that she was going to "look like a boy" if she cut her 'Punzel hair.  We tried to tell her it was just a teeny tiny bit that she was going to cut to help it grow super long and beautiful like 'Punzel.  She was kinda confused and seriously she thinks I'm torturing her in this picture. Its so pitiful.

How fast things change when we said Jill was all done and now she was going to curl it and put sparkles in it.  She was truly relieved when she looked in the mirror and she didn't have a hair cut like a boy.
I think it was maybe an inch off the back to even it up and a trim all over.  It looks much better, I probably should have done it a while ago, but I just couldn't.

Keekah went with us.  She was the photographer while I managed my nervous girl.
Sorry for the sick pic of me, but Charlee was too cute to not put up.

Thanks Jill, Charlee loves her new hair cut. Now she is ready for her Three-Year Old pictures.

Happy Birthday Poppy

Poppy's Birthday Surprise
We all planned a surprise for dad's birthday this year.  Chad, Jen and the girls were going to come up from Nashville for dads birthday.  So Charlee and I met them the night before at Shannon and Curts to cook and have a little get together before the party on Saturday.
All the wee ones made a stepping stone for dad because he is very into his yard and gardening and it was something other than golf balls, Mikes car wash coupons, or a McAlisters Deli gift card.  All the kids loved them, and they turned out so good, I will definitely be doing this again in the future.

 The shocking entrance...
Mary told dad to drive around because his "gift" was being installed.  He quite possibly could have been disappointed that all of us together for his birthday wasn't a Big Screen T.V. he was picturing.  Sorry dad, just us!
Jen... you get some mad props for this project.  It turned out great.
Crazy girls in their matching outfits from Tia.

Uncle Curt did this for at least an hour as the girls chanted various cheers... and Bricyn dozed off for about 5 minutes.

Good thing Dad has a swimming pool... I mean a pond! They didn't seem to mind the fish swimming around while they "swam".

Oh we did ask the Psychics aka... Taco and Jacks what the baby was and they both separately said a boy.  I think the run down so far is:
Dad-boy
Tia- girl
Taco-boy
Jacks-boy
Jen- girl
Chad-boy
Mae Mae- is with me (not saying one or the other)
Gavin-girl
Charlee- changes her mind daily (kinda like me too)
Not only will this delivery have a Styrofoam cup with weight guesses.. it will have a new column for gender... that should make things interesting.  Cant wait.

I love that Bricee and Charlee were staying in the pond for the photo.
Happy Birthday Dad, we love you.
