Baby Grierson

Baby Grierson arrived September 18th.  We waited until daddy got home from work to go visit the new addition to the family.  We picked up Lala on our way up north.  She came very fast, I got a text around 5:30 am while I was at work that they were on their way to the hospital.  She was having some serious contractions.  She was born around 10:00 I do believe.  So exciting, and nerve wracking for me.  4 more weeks and we should be doing the same thing.  They also didn't know what they were having so they were more than thrilled to have a little baby girl.  Gaeton is super excited to have a baby sister.

Lala is kind of a baby whisperer, she is awesome like that.

My girl was so good with her.  She wanted to hold her all by herself (without daddy's hands touching her) like a big girl.  This was a nice transition from aunt Jenny having a baby in her belly to holding the baby now that "the Dr. got the baby out" She is putting it all together.  Her little mind is just cranking away.

Charlee's Three Year Pictures & Maternity Pictures

I'm so thankful for Kimberly Reid. We have used her for over three years now and I couldn't be more pleased with her.  I was in search of a photographer to take my maternity pictures when I was pregnant with Charlee and the person I contacted about pictures gave me Kimberly's information.  She has done a great job and has given us so many memories.  I'm so thankful shes our photographer.

Charlee's 3 year old pictures and my maternity pictures were combined into an awesome photo shoot.  We had a rain delay, but got a great day in its place.  These were at Anderson Orchard.  Charlee had been prepped for these for a few weeks, because we didn't do so well at our two year pictures.  She wasn't very cooperative a year ago, but with all the talk about getting her picture taken this time she rocked it.  She was posing and doing whatever Kimberly asked her... and more.  She was kinda upset when we mixed in some momma shots while she and daddy were having a wardrobe change.  Lip gloss is her new obsession and has taken the place of nummies (M&M's). She was hot stuff with her gloss on.

I fell victim again to Janie and Jack.  I really cant help it, I have no control of myself and always get an outfit or two for pictures.  Its really not my fault ... she looks so cute!!

 

Oh baby you are very high still... I am reminded constantly, like when I try to breathe.

Its pretty difficult to walk when your preggo normally, or on uneven ground, then add some super high wedges... yikes! I about twisted my ankle 3 or 4 times.  All so I didn't look like a midget little person next to my husband. 

This is another favorite of mine.  This was a slip from Hannah Anderson - another store that is awesome and that my husband should keep me from entering.  I got it because she does complain sometimes that dresses are itchy, but it looked super cute on all by itself. Screams summer.

I did love the telephone prop, and it kept Charlee's attention for a while until she broke it.  She can be a She-hulk sometimes. Her daddy gave her that nickname because she is freakishly strong.

We have plenty of these shots because she kept blowing raspberries on her baby. 

Shes my sweet girl.  Side note... I'm sad these lace shorts wont fit, because I kinda want to wear them not preggers.

I'm in love with this picture.  I saw it online and sent it to Kimberly because I was obsessed.  It couldn't have turned out better.  Charlee went along with the pose thankfully, because about 2 min later she was over it and sitting in the car eating some fruit snacks as I was begging her to do the last picture.

And we now know that the bundle was a little baby boy... so this is the pic that we can use!! There was another one with little red shoes for a girl.

This is the pic Charlee wouldn't participate in. I wanted her to have MILK on her belly. Pick your battles I guess. It was a long session for a 3 year old I suppose.  She did awesome so I cant complain.

Thanks again to Kimberly Reid.  She is phenomenal, so If you don't have a photographer... you should contact her. Thank the lord we found her.

Cell Phone Dump

 These Pics are from our IPhone's. Gavin downloaded all of the pics and videos to our computer. Then he tells me that we should get a hard drive... just in case.  So now I'm consumed with what will happen if our computer just dies.  I have some comfort in knowing that most pictures are on shutterfly, and now there is an app for shutterfly that downloads all pics that you take with your phone... pretty sweet.

 

Charlee playing on her "playground" "swing set" "tree house" (she calls it all of them) and she is definitely in her panties. Oh well, she lives in very little clothes. And check out the sun, it was so pretty. 

 

31 weeks! Time is flying by still.  I'm shocked... Charlee has panties on. We probably had to put those on for the pic.

Poppys Pond/ Swimming Pool

32 weeks and feeling more large and still cant breathe or sleep at this point. I'm kinda uncomfortable and exhausted. I cant act like I didn't know what I was signing up for...

Gavin sent me this picture when I was on my way home from work one morning.  He had just dropped her off at Lala's. Lala had these waiting for her.  They were the Wizard of Oz toys she had when Gavin was little. Charlee obviously was obsessed with them because she is obsessed with the movie and is going as Dorothy for Halloween this year.  Shes already been on the hunt for ruby red slippers.

1st visit to Anderson Orchard this year.  It still was very warm, but we wanted a slushy. And sis got to play on the playground.

She is my favorite girl. She is so happy to be playing you can just tell by her face.

Look what we found at the Kids Go Round store for 3$!!! Score! Its a little short, but it will do just fine for my little Dorothy Gayle.

This was the day Mannie left for college.  We miss her everyday.  I'm kinda jealous that she gets to start 4 years of greatness down in Bloomington.  Its pretty much the best town/school ever.  Cant wait to hear all about her college life. Go Hoosiers.

Mannie is an Art History Major, but taking all her classes for Pre-Med. She is going to be an eye surgeon.  I don't have to brag on her, but she is pretty much the smartest person eva! Love you Mannie.

HaHa ... fat girl in a little chair. I was reading to Charlee and apparently Gavin thought it was funny. I'd like to see him (not prego) sit in Charlee's chair.

36 Weeks.  We were getting ready to go visit our new baby Grierson Hazel at the hospital.  We were just waiting on daddy to get home.  And at this point, Keekah had to take over the role of Picture-taker because our regular lady (Mannie) was at college. She is happy to fill in especially because Daddy is the worst at taking pictures. He doesn't care if anyone is looking or smiling or ready for the picture, he just takes it and too bad if you don't like it.  He doesn't get it.  My pictures are important to me and daddy-o doesn't participate in taking them, hes just in them. One day Gavin you will thank me and God forbid if I die, you WILL take over with my crazy picture taking. 

 Side note... Charlee's bowels are working well. She "has turds" all day, everyday!! She also is naked often and on this particular evening... she sang a song for us that had us laughing so hard only to find my stupid IPhone 4 didn't have enough storage for the video, but didn't tell me that until we tried to play it.  perfect.
